Dark Angel: Revolutionary War preview

beginning January 2014 Marvel reunites classic UK heroes in a series entitled Revolutionary War.  It's a 20 year anniversary bringing characters like Captain Britain, Death's Head II, Dark Angel, and Killpower back into the fold. I did the art on the Dark Angel story written by master scribe Kieron Gillen.  ComicVine graced us with a color preview and I thought I'd follow with B&W's and my first character model rough of Shevaun Haldane

Notti and Nyce

I had the pleasure of contributing a few pages to a recent issue of Notti and Nyce.  Written by longtime friend and colleague Marat Mychaels with snappy colors by Anthony George.  Had such a good time asked could I chip in on the Special Xmas Edition which will arrive in everyone's stockings next week.  I'll preview that short story soon written by another friend and work peer Dan Wickline.

Vampirella Halloween Special

I'll let the synopsis do the talking...
Vampirella once again joins forces with Dracula and Eva in order to confront a Doomsday Cult intent on releasing one of the Ancient Ones back upon the Earth. The trio, empowered from their previous successes, will confront these evil forces head on! These three warriors race from threat to threat in order to stop the apocalypse but will learn that even their immense power may not be enough. Whether they accept it or not, some battles cannot be won...

ssshhh..Giant Killer..sneak peek

Been busy with a few different projects so I haven't had time for an Xtraordinary Gals sketch. One of the titles that had me tied up was Damsels: Giant Killer published by Dynamite which will hit shelves in August.  Of course, I can't show pages until the books released so I pieced together random panels from random pages as a preview.

Ash and Friends

Few more pages I did on Army of Darkness. This was issue 7 I believe, which has been out for a bit & soon to be a released in trade paperback. Had a friend comment on the new Evil Dead movie and I pointed out ED was the mother from which the Army of Darkness sprang. Still haven't seen it myself but will soon.Heard it was great. For those that have this issue you may notice alittle something different from these pages.

Iron Man

Spare time and the Iron Patriot suit is in my head from the Iron Man 3 trailers and Tony's armour from Marvel's Ultimate universe matches up pretty well with it

hard days work

Bionic Man Annual

Bionic Man Annual in stores today! This project was a dream seeing as how this show was one of my favorites as a youth.  The bionic run and leap was imitated daily by yours truly. Round of applause to Scott Beatty for a great story, Alex Guimaraes for wonderful colors and Joe Rybandt at Dynamite for offering me this wonderful book.

the Bat

Wanted to try a darker approach on scenes and thought Batman was the perfect character to apply this thought

The Bloody End

IDW series Chasing the Dead comes to a blood drenching conclusion today with issue 4.  I enjoyed handling the art on the title. Stretched my legs a bit with the style but still relaxed and had fun.  If you didn't catch all of the issues I believe a Trade paperback is planned for the near future.
